Description

Kids are plugged into the Internet via laptops, phones, and online gaming. CyberSense uses age-appropriate magic, comedy and story-telling to help them understand that their online actions leave a digital footprint. Students learn the risks of sharing personal information, why it is important to be helpful and kind, and that ‘they have the power to be safe.” Their words and actions online can have a profound effect on others, positive or negative. They must choose carefully what they say and do. *** Though the subject matter is quite serious, students enjoy participating in the fully interactive performance. The program engages and entertains young audiences while at the same time teaching valuable life lessons about digital citizenship. Most importantly, students learn to “think before they click.” *** James’s skills as master magician, comedian, speaker have garnered him many special invitations, including performances at the White House and Time Life Inc. His messaging is strong, clear and effecting.
