Description

Margaret Clauder, aka THE Bookworm, will bring stories to life that the children can actually find in their library, encouraging children to check out and read even more books by the beloved authors presented. Bookworm stories include: Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, a Caldecott award winner by William Steig, Kat Kong, a feline parody of the horror classic by Dav Pilkey, and The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.. The Bookworm's dictionary book puppet, Webster, will teach children to take care of their books with the help of Margaret's brilliant ventriloquism. The show finishes with a magical card that somehow changes from a 10 of diamonds into the most important card of all - a library card! Ages PK-4th.

Students Will

  • Book: Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig ISBN 1442435607
  • Book: Kat Kong by Dav Pilkey ISBN 0152049509
