Description
Quoth the Raven…“Nevermore.” Meet The Raven Society: a group of nine dedicated to meeting at midnight to recite and discuss this Edgar Allan Poe poem. Trouble is, with the current social distancing regulations, meeting in a graveyard – while appealingly atmospheric – is just not possible. Surely a Zoom call could work just as well. But, what’s this mysterious figure that keeps appearing? In this spooky, funny, and educational Halloween show, The Raven Society proves that true horror dwells within.

Students Will
  • Experience a pre- recorded live, theatrical production and observe the contributions of professional theater artists including actors, set and costume designers, director, musical director, stage manager, choreographer, and the crew.
  • Participate as a member of the audience throughout the performance. Students will have ample opportunity to identify, apply, and evaluate appropriate audience behavior while viewing with their classmates
  • Develop an appreciation for great storytelling
  • Utilize educational study guide provided to teacher

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: No cancellations or refunds once a voucher number and approval code are issued. In case of cancellation by the theater, all attempts will be made first to re-schedule performance.
After School Policy: After School Policy: The school provides: a physical space large and quiet enough to allow the group to work comfortably and without interruption; at least one staff member on site during the drama class session; distribution of enrollment forms; and a contact person.
