Standards

Description

Popular brass ensemble presents a show focusing on the historical progress of horns from ancient conch shells to the modern trumpet. Introduces students to instruments in the brass family and explores the varied sounds made with and without valves. Students will be exposed to hunting calls, classical compositions, and modern jazz tunes, among others. Students will participate by playing simple tunes and identifying the varied sounds produced by brass instruments. Program delivery is adjusted based on age groups. Educational content is expanded in older grades

Students Will

Cancellation Policy: No refunds in the case of cancellations or absences, but programs can be rescheduled whenever possible. Cancellations must be received 1 week prior to the scheduled performance date.
After School Policy: One adult (teacher or other chaperone) must be seated with each class of students (minimum 1 adult per 30 students).
