Description

Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore! presents Peter & The Wolf a symphonic fairy tale for children composed by Sergei Prokofiev. Watch and enjoy as animals come to life through music and dance interpretation. Classical ballet, modern dance and jazz techniques are used to physicalize the animals and two human characters in this fun presentation. After this fun filled time students will have an interactive dance experience with the artistic director. As a bonus DBDT:Encore! will present one of the works from their current repertoire. Students and teachers will also have an opportunity to meet the dancers and have a time question and answer.

Scheduling / Booking

Cancellation Policy: In order to cancel or reschedule a class or residency, a 48 hours notice is required, first by phone contact and second in writing (via fax, postal or email). Any school cancelling or rescheduling a program will be responsible for any expenses or fees incurred as a result of cancellation or rescheduling. If a class or residency cancellation occurs in less than 48 hours, full payment for that occurrence will be billed to the school. In order to cancel or reschedule an on-campus performance or matinee performance at a venue, the party cancelling must provide notification in writing 30 days prior to the performance date. Any party cancelling an on-campus or matinee performance at a venue will be held responsible for the full amount as a result of its cancellation or rescheduling. Once an on-campus performance or matinee performance has been booked the participating school is responsible for the full amount listed on the invoice. Payments are non-refundable.
After School Policy: Each school/site must have qualified personnel present during each arts/cultural experience (dance class, on-campus) for the entire length of each session to assist with classroom management. The school personnel are also responsible for supervising the students before and after class, walking students to the bus or releasing students to their parents.All student participants must adhere to the policies and procedures of the provider program as well as the rules and regulations of the school/site itself. School/site must provide a clear, clean space, stage, cafeteria or dance classroom for each session. This space must be available for each class occurrence to maintain consistency.
