The Black Academy of Arts and Letters is a 39 year old mulch-discipline cultural arts institution that enhances the understanding of artistic, cultural, and aesthetic differences, utilizing the framework of African American, African, and Caribbean Arts and Letters. Additionally, TBAAL's purpose it to promote, foster, cultivate, perpetuate, and preserve the Arts and Letters of African Americans, Africans and Caribbeans in Fine Arts, Literary Arts, and Performing Arts. TBAAL's Arts On the Spot interactive program offerings include impromptu musical theater productions, James E. Kemp gallery, and Dallas Legends exhibitions, music appreciation, dance appreciation, creative writing, and much much more!
