Description
All humans inevitably interact with the natural world around us, but we all as communities have come up with diverse ways to live amongst nature. We use the resources around us for entertainment, decoration, trade, and countless other uses. This box contains objects derived from the earth and animals used for all aspects of life. Your students will be amazed at how many of the materials they see in their everyday lives! Activities focus on understanding how the items were made, what type of environment the people live in, as well as the creativity and craftsmanship required to make the objects. Box includes 13 items from Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, and the Philippines.

Deadline: Box needs to be reserved at least one week in advance
Cancellation Policy: You will be charged for the number of people for whom you initially book the tour/Discovery Box unless you notify us of the change 48 hours in advance. If you must cancel your tour/Discovery Box, you must notify us 48 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in the allotted time and you will still be invoiced for the full amount. Exceptions will be made in the case of inclement weather, provided that the school can reschedule.
After School Policy: Tours/Discovery Boxes available from 4-5 p.m. Class size limited and advance notice required.
