Bullying can be found in every neighborhood, school system and school. Denying that bullying exists or ignoring bullying is the worst thing that can happen to children, a school, and a community Bullying Is a Big Deal. Bullying is a big problem that affects lots of kids. Three-quarters of all kids say they have been bullied or teased. Being bullied can make kids feel really bad. The stress of dealing with bullies can make kids feel sick.
Day by day you torment them,
it takes so long for their hearts to mend.
All they ask for is one true friend,
but you make them want their lives to end.
Rhymes, rhythm, song, and movement have long been utilized as powerful teaching tools to influence social behavior. Young people appreciate activities which give them alternative ways of thinking; therefore, poems (using beats that are already established and providing students’ opportunities to create their own beat to the poem) music, role-play and modeling are utilized to promote understanding the concepts and bullying
Our 55 minute program will provide students with interactive skills and strategies that will assist them in bully proofing themselves and become an up stander rather than a bystander in bully proofing themselves and others.

After School Policy:
|
A standby assistant must be provided by the school to assist the presenter in the event of unforeseen problems. This assistant does not have to remain in the room, just be available if needed. All students will be in assigned school location during the program. Students will not be allowed to leave the class campus without a written permission slip that is approved by the school. Security monitors must be provided by the school.
