Description

Human beings are natural song-makers. Mr. Willy leads the children through a brief history of song-making as an art form. The elements of songwriting are explored and discussed. Then the children collaborate with the artist to create their own lyrics and melody for a song. A recording of the created song is made.

Students Will

  • collaborate to create a song of their own and sing and record it together
  • learn some basic elements of songs, sing songs together, call & response
