Description
TAO teaching musicians will perform rhythms as a drum line and explain mathematics in patterns, music, time signatures and breakdown fractions, measurements and proportions as seen through percussive instruments. Students will use instruments and their hands to clap out rhythm patterns while the drummers improvise over the student's patterns. Younger students will have the opportunity to build their counting skills as part of the drumline routine. A very exciting and educational program! These are very proficient musicians, also seen performing at the Dallas Mavericks Basketball games!! We highly welcome combining classes and grades!! Times: Monday -Friday: 3 pm - 6 pm; Saturday: 10 am - 3 pm

Deadline: 15 days prior to performance date
Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract by mail or email. Should illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, The Artist Outreach will offer to reschedule. Cancellations are made by email and/or call until a cancellation is confirmed by The Artist Outreach. A 48 hour timeline for rescheduling is acceptable without penalty, otherwise the date and refund are forfeited. Programs canceled (outside of the above exceptions) by a school or community presenter after confirmation are subject to full payment.
After School Policy: We always need a contact (and info) for our on-site performances. Please designate a person in the school or community as the primary contact on the day of the event to facilitate artist needs and ease of performance.
