Description
The Classic Brass Trio will take you on a musical journey though the sounds of Texas. Our show will cover a diverse range of musical styles including blues, gospel, ragtime, jazz, Tejano, and rock and roll. Texas music reflects our rich history and great cultural diversity. As we explore this marvelous heritage we will demonstrate the different musical styles and explain how they developed through the late 1800's to the present. Program delivery is adjusted based on age groups. Educational content is expanded in older grades

Students Will
  • Hear different musical styles and what makes them special
  • Associate specific dates in Texas history with certain types of music
  • Learn and clap rhythms and play various rhythm instruments along with the music

Cancellation Policy: No refunds in the case of cancellations or absences, but programs can be rescheduled whenever possible. Cancellations must be received 1 week prior to the scheduled performance date.
After School Policy: One adult (teacher or other chaperone) must be seated with each class of students (minimum 1 adult per 30 students).
