Description
Interactive games, rhymes, story books and poems with movement and role-play will be utilized in teaching children the social behaviors that influence bullying. students will participate in interactive activities that will assist them in understanding that bullying also involves them, even if they are not the bully. Our 55 minute program provides students with interactive skills and strategies that will assist them in bully proofing themselves and become an up stander rather than a bystander in bully proofing themselves and others.
Students Will
Role play what not to do if you are bullied.
Describe each: “Bully” “Bystander” “Victim”
Role play--Bystanders ----- bystanders those who stand beside the bully
Select a character in the story that was read and explain what they did
Recite the bully poem with action chorally
List three ways that children bully each other.

After School Policy:
A standby assistant must be provided by the school to assist the presenter in the event of unforeseen problems. This assistant does not have to remain in the room, just be available if needed. All students will be in assigned school location during the program. Students will not be allowed to leave the class campus without a written permission slip that is approved by the school. Security monitors must be provided by the school.
