Description

A TAO Percussionist uses rhythm and global instruments to help students learn their homework vocabulary words. This technique of using a drum circle and having students create a rhythm around their vocabulary words, helps a student with their pronunciation, phonetics, intonation. Aswell, it gives students an ability to spell their words better. It is also used as a technique for improvisation and "Thinking on Your Feet" through rhythm and speech. This a highly sought after program in communities around the state of TEXAS and is used regularly on the campus of TCU (Ft Worth).

Students Will

  • learn to pronounce words better.
  • learn to spell better through subdivision rhythm.
  • build confidence in a group setting.
  • build improvisational skills and focus.
