WOW, Science is Awesome! By the end of this STEM assembly you will be saying just that. Explore the scientific method while exercising scientific reasoning skills! * Observe the differences between chemical and physical reactions * Predict the outcome of several experiments * Observe forces such as magnetism and gravity acting on objects. We are making Giant Smoke Rings, creating a Mushroom Man, and meeting the Genie in the Bottle, to name a few. And of course, we need volunteers! Join us on stage to help with the experiments and delight your classmates with a show of color, light, and explosions! Wow! Is a fun memorable experience that delights, informs, illuminates.

Students Will
  • Predict the outcome of several experiments
  • Observe the differences between chemical and physical reactions
  • Realize that science occurs all around them and not merely in a lab
  • Participate within the show, both on and off the stage
  • Imagine possible careers in STEM
  • Observe forces such as magnetism and gravity acting on objects
  • Identify changes that can occur in the physical properties of the ingredients of solutions

All Animal Encounter pre-recorded Asynchronous programming links will be available for three consecutive school days. Other links vary from 2-3 days. Ask about weekend bookings.

Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract. Should inclement weather or other unforeseen emergency circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, we will offer the option of rescheduling. All cancellations are subject to full payment. With the exception of unforeseen circumstances, changing the date of a specific session can be made with two weeks' notice and is subject to the availability of the artist.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must be with the students at all times to assist with classroom management. They are also responsible for supervising the students before and after class, walking students to the bus or releasing students to their parents.
