Standards

Description
This class will focus on fun, dynamic styles of dances and emotions that arise during the different times of year .Colorful props and exciting new music will be used as we hop like a bunny,ice skate on a frozen pond ,fly like a bat, and surf the ocean!

Students Will
  • compare and contrast different styles of dance
  • combine movements to develop dances to different tempos
  • recognize feelings that arise from each season
  • learn how to express emotions through movement
  • Literary connection:All /Around the seasons by Barney Saltzberg

Times: 8:00am - 6:00pm
Duration: 1 hour
School Fee: Flat Rate: $150.00
Minimum Attendance: 25
Maximum Attendance: 50

Instructions: To schedule this program, please call 469-490-6353 If inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, I will offer the option of rescheduling.
Deadline: Two weeks notice
Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your confirmation email. Should illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, I will offer the option of rescheduling. Programs canceled by a school or community presenter after confirmation are subject to full payment.
After School Policy: Teacher or school representative to remain in classroom during the program. If teacher or representative is not available for the entire duration, 3 check-is will be required at the beginning, middle, and end. Maximum of 25 students in class for program.
