Description

This is a New Literacy-Focused School show that inspires kids to read for FUN! As students return to school this fall, welcome them back to learning and reading excitement with a new educational and magical school show, "Its Book Time with Ringmaster Dal". Ringmaster Dal Sanders is the host of the Saturday Morning Television show, "Kartoon Circus". In a 35-minute, fun-filled educational program, Dal and his friend, "Stoogie," the sock-puppet bookworm, use a creative mix of music, magic and games to share their excitement for reading. Ringmaster Dal will also introduce elementary students to other good friends - BOOKS. Ultimately, Dal delivers a powerful message to children that reading is fun and "book time" is an important and special time of the day. Consistently bringing high-quality classroom tools to teachers is one way Dal Sanders continues to fulfill his commitment to support schools in the DISD and across the country. We trust educators will find "It's Book Time with Ringmaster Dal" and the accompanying curriculum helpful in reminding kids the importance of books and how to take care of them. This show is designed for young readers from Kindergarten through 2nd grades.
