Description
Texas Ballet Theater brings the world of ballet to life on your campus! Our CityDance program introduces students to the art and athleticism of ballet through an hour-long ballet class. We’ll spend our time together moving and grooving! Students will stretch, jump, balance, and turn. Class curriculum promotes spatial and kinesthetic awareness and muscular and cognitive development. Aligned with PE TEKS and National Core Arts Standards in Dance for 1st - 4th grades.

Students Will
  • Learn French ballet terminology and vocabulary
  • Dance! We'll be moving from start to finish.
  • Develop kinesthetic and spatial awareness
  • Practice listening and mirroring skills
  • Discover dance as a form of enjoyable exercise
  • Explore movement dynamics, levels, and sequences

Dates: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
Times: 9:00 - 3:00
Duration: 60 minutes
School Fee: Flat Rate: $150.00
Minimum Attendance: 10
Maximum Attendance: 50
Bilingual: No
Technical Needs: Portable speaker or sound system preferred. TBT can provide sound if needed.

Cancellation Policy: Two weeks notice of cancellation preferred. Cancellations received within 48 hours of scheduled program are not subject to refund, with the exception of school closings.
