Description
Faux Fur is a fun, functional material. Suitable for everyday wear as well as formal occasions. Students will learn about its history, uses, and cultural ties.

Students Will
  • under the direction of a master seamstress, will learn about the versatility of faux fur in sewing projects.
  • design and construct their own furry garment.
  • have the opportunity to shadow mentors in industries where faux fur is frequently worn: exotic dancers and performers and impersonators.

Deadline: 2 days in advance
Cancellation Policy: *Cancellations are subject to rescheduling and are accepted 48 hours before the program IF the program is rescheduled.; otherwise no money is refunded. Official school closings (for snow days/emergencies,etc.) are exceptions, and provider will work with you to reschedule. *Two weeks notice in writing and/or by email
After School Policy: Please designate a person in the school or community as the primary contact on the day of the event to facilitate artist needs.
