Description

This stand-alone live animal festival booth is an interactive experience created especially for festivals, science nights, and other community events. The LIVE Animal Interaction Station consists of a wide variety of animals - invertebrates, mammals, and reptiles - from all over the world! Participants are provided with: 1)face-to-face encounters with several Animal Ambassadors via clear viewing boxes. 2)hands-on interactions with a wide variety of Animal Ambassadors, all facilitated by the Wildlife on the Move staff. This come-and-go festival booth experience is the highlight of any event, delivers a WILD Great Time, and leaves your guests begging for more!

Students Will

  • Explore countries and continents that the animals inhabit
  • Be engaged through vocabulary, word meaning, and reading for understanding
  • Develop oral language through listening, speaking and discussion
  • Obtain and process the scientific terminology and characteristics of each animal
  • Use counting, measuring, and size comparisons of each animal to solve everyday math problems
  • Observe to better understand animal physical and behavioral characteristics, the role they play in nature, their importance within the world, and steps one can take to help conserve and protect them locally and globally

All Animal Encounter pre-recorded Asynchronous programming links will be available for three consecutive school days. Other links vary from 2-3 days. Ask about weekend bookings.

Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract. Should inclement weather or other unforeseen emergency circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, we will offer the option of rescheduling. All cancellations are subject to full payment. With the exception of unforeseen circumstances, changing the date of a specific session can be made with two weeks' notice and is subject to the availability of the artist.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must be with the students at all times to assist with classroom management. They are also responsible for supervising the students before and after class, walking students to the bus or releasing students to their parents.
