Standards

Description
Students will design their own Ceramic Tile with Cork Backing in the Artistic Print of their choice. Choosing from a variety of print patterns, students will recreate their favorite design using multi-colored Sharpie Markers. They will attach an adhesive "cork backing" and then the Instructor will spray a clear "Krylon" sealant to lock in their beautiful artistic patterns ( Keepsake Items are Make and Take activity )

Students Will
  • attach a 4 X 4 cork adhesive backing
  • Spray a sealant to protect their artwork
  • Color their favorite Artistic Print
  • Learn about many variations of Artistic patterns

Deadline: 6/1/2024
Cancellation Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for which you have registered, and your request is received by EPIC DOMAIN with more than 30-days notice, you will receive a 25% refund of amount already paid. If EPIC DOMAIN is closed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. inclement weather, utility outage, or any other issue that may prohibit our ability to deliver our program to you and your class, all programs will automatically be canceled and 100% refund will be issued. If EPIC DOMAIN is available and scheduled, but your group chooses not to attend virtually or host the event, no refund will be issued. NOTE: If the Dallas Independent School District closes for inclement weather, and our event can be held virtually, the Zoom link will be provided and adjustments can be made for the cost of "pre-purchased supplies" If you have questions as to whether or not EPIC DOMAIN is open during inclement weather, you can check [email protected], www.epicdomain.org or call 214) 772-9673 directly to speak with Jo Patterson.
