"Shadows on the wall / Noises down the hall / Life doesn't frighten me at all" begins Dr. Maya Angelou's famous poem which serves as the foundation for Paige Hernandez's LIFE DOESN'T FRIGHTEN ME: I AM FEARLESS ROYALTY. Students will be engrossed in this tale about conquering fears as they watch a performance which is the end result of many theater artists (including, but not limited to, the actors, director, and playwright) working together to create something special for the stage. With original music from Grammy–nominated Kris Funn and themes inspired by actual students across the country, this show is a moving multicultural performing arts experience that reminds everyone that LIFE DOESN’T FRIGHTEN ME: I AM FEARLESS ROYALTY. The performance is presented in Dallas Children’s Theater’s Baker Theater where students will be able to practice appropriate audience behavior, important to this and all live productions.
