Join Roary, the little dinosaur with the BIGGEST emotions, on his thrilling adventure during his first day of school! In this heartwarming tale, Roary struggles to manage his overwhelming feelings, from towering excitement to uncontrollable anger, his emotions ROAR! With the help of a wise and thoughtful teacher and some understanding classmates, Roary discovers that handling emotions isn’t just a dino-sized task—it’s something everyone struggles with, even grown-ups.

  • Discuss Reading Comprehension Strategies
  • Connect- Use what you know about yourself, other stories and the world around you to relate
  • Visualize- Use words and clues from the story to create a picture in your mind.
  • Predict - Use clues the author provides and what you know from personal experience or knowledge to predict what might happen
  • Question - During reading, yourself, the text and the author
  • Inference - Using what you know to make a guess about what you don't.
  • Clarify- Re-read slowly, look at pictures and use a dictionary when necessary.

Scheduling / Booking
Instructions: Please have your Program Director or Teacher requesting the Fine Arts Program to email me at [email protected] with her request and the details will be worked out in writing or by email communications. We hope you make EPIC DOMAIN your choice for your EPIC ACTIVITIES!
Deadline: 2 WEEKS
Cancellation Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for which you have registered, and your request is received by EPIC DOMAIN with more than 30-days notice, you will receive a 25% refund of amount already paid. If EPIC DOMAIN is closed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. inclement weather, utility outage, or any other issue that may prohibit our ability to deliver our program to you and your class, all programs will automatically be canceled and 100% refund will be issued. If EPIC DOMAIN is available and scheduled, but your group chooses not to attend virtually or host the event, no refund will be issued. NOTE: If the Dallas Independent School District closes for inclement weather, and our event can be held virtually, the Zoom link will be provided and adjustments can be made for the cost of "pre-purchased supplies" If you have questions as to whether or not EPIC DOMAIN is open during inclement weather, you can check [email protected], www.epicdomain.org or call 214) 772-9673 directly to speak with Jo Patterson.
