Description
"Pizcas," is a narrative one-woman show about an 11-year-old migrant worker in the cotton fields of Texas. Drama and humor bring to life the important and often untold story of the life of child workers and their contributions to our communities, tables, and clothing. We offer the following options to fit your needs: - 60 Minute Performance - 20 Minute Performance, 10 Minute Q&A Session with Actors & Directors, & 30 Minute Theatrical Workshop - 60 Minute Workshop

Students Will
  • learn about Texas history (1940's -1960's).
  • learn about the lives of migrant farm worker children.
  • learn lessons of culture & history through artistic theater.

Times: 8am - 8pm

School Fee: Flat Rate: $1500.00
Minimum Attendance: 25

Bilingual: Yes
Technical Needs: Required production needs: a clean space of no less than 25 X 25 and sound system for CD. Lighting: The play can be presented without lights, but if a lighting system is available, a lighting plot will be used to enhance the production. Set-up time: Our troupe will arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour before showtime, depending in the site’s flexibility. For lights, 2 hours set-up time is required.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellation/rescheduling requests must be made no later than 14 days prior to the agreed upon date. If a cancellation is made within one week of a scheduled event, 50% of the cost of service will be required.
