“Empowering kids in the kitchen, classroom and beyond!”
With virtual school programs, you’ll get the same level of quality Chefsville is known for
Chefsville’s asynchronous and hybrid programming combine lessons, images, videos, cooking demonstrations and equipment to explore the connections with math, science, language arts and social studies to cooking. These fun programs help students understand what it is like to work with food and connect skills they learn in the classroom.
Topics embedded in our academic programs include topics divided into Cooking Basics, Technique Lessons and Recipe Lessons.
A variety of important life skills are woven into each virtual school program. They include: communicating effectively, teamwork, trust, kindness, having a positive attitude, and believing in yourself.
Chefsville recipes use pantry and fridge staples for those who want to take the opportunity and get involved in daily meal preparation.
For math and science programs, students learn how measure and weigh ingredients as well as to follow instructions to get a predictable outcome when cooking. For social studies programming, students are even brought face to face with challenges requiring problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve recipe problems. These same skills connect with academic learning.
Cooking a dish or a meal makes a great finale to the online experience!
