Description

Rhymes, rhythm, song, and movement will be utilized in teaching students the social behaviors that influences bullying. Using poems, music, role-play, creative writing, and modeling students will participate in interactive activities that will assist them in understanding that bullying also involves them, even if they are not the bully. Our 55 minute program provides students with interactive skills and strategies that will assist them in bully proofing themselves and become an up stander rather than a bystander in bully proofing themselves and others.

Students Will

  • List the signs of someone who is a bully.
  • Role play three types of bullying.
  • Explain how being bullies affects students' academics
  • Explain how you could help someone who is being bullied
  • Groups create their own short Bully poem
  • Create a beat for the Bully poem they created
