Description

Adults will explore the ancient techniques of glass and ceramic mosaics by designing and executing a group project for team building. Adult students start with a brief history of mosaics and do research for samples, then design group project, prepare chipped glass, cement, grout, and clean work for display. Professional development will make larger, more intricate projects, based on research and personal sketches. Overall, adults will get the full hands-on experience with professional materials and the satisfaction of learning a new technique.
