Description
Grades K -2 and 3- 5 Whether it is building a colorful ice cream cone, adding a rap beat to a poem, reciting and memorize a prepared poem, or working together to create a poem, students are engage in creatively learning the concept of positive Self-Esteem. Students have various styles of learning and this 55 minute program is designed to meet students at the appropriate age level and learning style. “Why would you want to be someone that you are not- When you could be better by being yourself. Why pretend to walk in someone else’s shoes- When you have something they haven’t got. Our 55 minute age- appropriate program will provide students with interactive skills and strategies that will assist students in becoming self-confident and self-assertive.

  • Explain how it relates to relationships and academic performance
  • Grades 3-5 Add lines to self-esteem poem
  • Grades 3-5 groups create a self-Esteem poem with a beat

After School Policy: A standby assistant must be provided by the school to assist the presenter in the event of unforeseen problems. This assistant does not have to remain in the room, just be available if needed. All students will be in assigned school location during the program. Students will not be allowed to leave the class campus without a written permission slip that is approved by the school. Security monitors must be provided by the school.
