Description
Bring the pond to you! In this 45 minute program, our Audubon educators will bring samples of our pond water to your classroom. Students will use scientific tools to explore the pond sample, looking at macro invertebrates and other pond life. Students will also conduct a water quality study on the sample using the macroinvertebrates they find. For a truly investigative experience, book multiple programs throughout the school year to see how life changes with the seasons.

Deadline: Two weeks prior to program date
Cancellation Policy: All notices of cancellation, reschedule request, and changes in number of students attending must be reported to the Trinity River Audubon Center ten business days in advance of the scheduled visit. Schools will be charged the full program fee if they fail to provide adequate notification of cancellation or rescheduling.
