Description

This program is designed to inspire elementary age children to build strong healthy relationships through character building traits such as equality, justice, respect for others, and truthfulness, thus becoming good citizens in their school community. The program uses a creative mix of music, magic, skits and games to reinforce the value of friends, the enjoyment that comes from them and what it means to be a good friend - not a bully! Ultimately, Dal Sanders delivers an important message to children about bullies and heroes and the power of positive relationships. Dal uses a creative mix of stacking music exercises, interactive magic, and improv skits to encourage decision making and problem solving to build relationships. He also uses games to reinforce the value of friendships between different cultures and life lessons. He takes kids on an adventure that teaches how to be a good friend, promotes outdoor play and physical activity and simplifies how to cooperate with friends. When children follow these positive steps, they learn how not to be a bully as well as how not to be bullied. It delivers a powerful message to children about bullies and heroes and the power of friendship. At the end of the show, Dal and your principal, counselor or other teacher will create a special poster for the school that will remind your students about the important points covered in the show. Dal Sanders is an award-winning seasoned performer with 40 years experience writing and performing school shows.
