Description

This popular character encourages children to read Mother Goose books, learn to act out rhymes dramatically by playing "the Mother Goose game" and enjoy making up, reading, and listening to poetry. Children are taught multiple rhymes and encouraged to act out the rhymes on their own. Children will practice as a group rhyming words and learn to identify examples of both rhyming and non-rhyming words. Mother Goose's performance will keep children's attention and pique their interest with lots of puppets and ventriloquism. Kids love her puppets including Lamby, Mary, Goosey, Itsy Bitsy, and the other friends who arrive with Mother Goose. For PK to 2nd.

  • Develop sensitivity to word patterns.
  • Become engaged in rhyming and rhyming games to deepen their interest in language.
