Description
Join our Audubon Educators on an adventure through nature! Your pre-k, kindergarten, and/or 1st grade students will enjoy a story read by our educators that focuses on some of the plants and animals found at the Trinity River Audubon Center, their habitats, or "homes", and what they need to survive in the wild. After the story, students will get a chance to meet one of our very own Three-toed Box Turtles and take a mini stroll around the Center!

Students Will
  • Learn about animals and their homes.
  • Learn about the basic needs all organisms need to survive.
  • Learn how physical characteristics can be sorted into different categories.

Deadline: Book at least two weeks in advance
Cancellation Policy: All notices of cancellation, reschedule request, and changes in number of students attending must be reported to the Trinity River Audubon Center ten business days in advance of the scheduled visit. Schools will be charged the full program fee if they fail to provide adequate notification of cancellation or rescheduling.
