Description

Learn the many exciting career possibilities available to artists! Participants are introduced to various fields where creative talents and abilities can be applied. They gain insight into innovative thinking and receive great tips on how to remain focused, energized, creative and relevant. Chose the master class or the residency, which allows students to meet a different artist each session and thus learn the specifics of each expert’s professional world. These sessions involve in-depth Q&A, fun discussion and dynamic activities highlighting specific career options. Students Will

  • Identify and process the work tasks involved with various careers
  • Explore creative careers and identify their individual skills and talents

  • Interpret ideas and moods in original artworks, portfolios, and exhibitions by peers and others
  • Conduct in-progress analyses and critiques of personal artworks
  • Polish presentation skills by developing mini-campaigns
  • Generate a research plan for gathering relevant information about the major research question.

All Animal Encounter pre-recorded Asynchronous programming links will be available for three consecutive school days. Other links vary from 2-3 days. Ask about weekend bookings.

Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract. Should inclement weather or other unforeseen emergency circumstances prevent the program from taking place as scheduled, we will offer the option of rescheduling. All cancellations are subject to full payment. With the exception of unforeseen circumstances, changing the date of a specific session can be made with two weeks' notice and is subject to the availability of the artist.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must be with the students at all times to assist with classroom management. They are also responsible for supervising the students before and after class, walking students to the bus or releasing students to their parents.
