Description

Two violinists from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra provide students with an interactive introduction to their instruments, introduce contrasting styles of music from classical to country to jazz, and demonstrate various playing techniques. Students are encouraged to ask questions and interact with the musicians. Audiences for each presentation are limited to 150, in order to create an intimate, informative, and positive educational environment for students and musicians. The string duo is available for grades PK-3 only. The String Duo gives two, 45 minute, back to back performances. Preferred start times are at 10:00 and 10:45 a.m. Both performances are offered at a flat rate of $350.00. Visit www.dsokids.com to make your reservation!

Other Information: For grades PreK-3. All schools with Symphony YES! Ensemble performances must abide by the rules in the Symphony YES! School Agreement Form. You must return the School Agreement Form after booking in order to guarantee the performance.

Scheduling / Booking

Instructions: Visit www.DSOKids.com to make reservations. The appropriate reservation form must be filled out to complete booking process.
Deadline: Reservations must be made before your Arts Partners Voucher expires. Subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy: Programs and dates are subject to change. No refunds in the case of cancellations or absences. However, rescheduling is possible. Cancellations and additions must be received 2 days before the scheduled performance date.
