Description

"Little leopard, little leopard, please don't play with FIRE!! is one of the "HOW and "WHY" tales that is told as students are actively involved with simple songs like, "Jambo" (hello in swahili), music with instruments from Africa and various cultures. Poetry is introduced to inspire and uplift, and the students will participate in circle and partner games with movements.

Students Will

  • listen and learn simple songs by call and response.
  • listen to stories and help complete phases.
  • be introduced to instruments from various African cultures.
  • learn movements by following directions to circle and partner games over 100 years old.

Deadline: 2 week advance notice.
Cancellation Policy: Should illness, inclement weather or other unforseen circumstances take place Melody offers the option of rescheduling. Full payment required if program is canceled on the day of program.
After School Policy: A teacher/employee must remain with class at all times. Preferable if teacher participates in the program.
