Description
In this two and a half-hour program, participants will have the opportunity to have free unstructured play in the Climb, Crawl, Slide sculpture, explore the lower level play installations, and learn the creative process through creative instruction. Participants will Illustrate a snakes adaptive color and markings in its native environment as processes for survival. Participants will learn how these unique marking help with survival in its habitat and environment with other organisms.

Students Will
  • be inspired by science and nature.
  • make any needed changes to their drawing of the snake’s markings or correlated habitat to get desired outcome.
  • make an original drawing and design of a snake it its natural environment.

Instructions: Fall and Spring Reservation Days and Times: Monday - Friday Morning Session: 9:30am - 12:00pm Afternoon Session: 1:00pm - 3:30pm Session start times may be adjusted to accommodate bus schedules. Deadline: 2 weeks prior
Cancellation Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for which you have registered, and your request is received by SPARK! with more than 30-days notice, you will receive a 25% refund of amount already paid. If SPARK! is closed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. inclement weather, utility outage, or any other issue that may prohibit our ability to deliver a true SPARK! experience) all programs will automatically be canceled and 100% refund will be issued. If SPARK! is open, but your group chooses not to come, no refund will be issued. NOTE: If the Dallas Independent School District closes for inclement weather, so does SPARK!
