Description

Students will create theatrical masks based on Latinx Culture from around the world and learn how to use them for performance! This class will be taught live over two (2) one-hour (1hr) Zoom sessions and allows for one-on-one interaction with the teaching artist. Materials are not included in price. Teacher needs to obtain their own supplies.

Scheduling / Booking

Deadline: 2 weeks before workshop.
Cancellation Policy: All residencies and touring performances can be rescheduled with Cara Mía 1 week prior to class start date. However, in the case that a workshop or residency cannot be rescheduled, it can be canceled up to a week (seven days) before the agreed start date. After a week from the start date, Cara Mía requires half of the payment for the workshop or residency in the case of a cancellation. After the start date, Cara Mía requires full payment for the touring workshop or residency. Touring shows can be canceled a week (seven days) before performance. After a week before performance date, Cara Mía requires full payment for a cancellation. Field trip performances to Cara Mía shows are non-refundable regardless of circumstances such as bad weather, difficulty with transportation or scheduling difficulties.
After School Policy: All residencies and touring performances can be rescheduled with Cara Mía. Cara Mia instructors are not allowed to release children to parents. Please inform the Instructors of appropriate arrival and dismissal process. A class session will consist of a maximum of 25 students. A DISD staff member may be required to monitor behavior.
