Description

Acts on Facts: A Residency Created to Suit your specific Classroom needs. Dallas Children’s Theater Residency Artists are very experienced in bringing a multitude of curriculum units to life for any grade level. The school administration along with DCT Education staff decide which lessons the artist will target in the residency. Using DCT’s multi-sensory approach, students are challenged to explore their class work through drama. Students will “Act Out” what they are studying to make the lessons really hit home! DCT residency artists have been presenting “Acts on Facts” residencies for many years with great success!

Students Will

  • Work with a professional theater artist to explore the chosen classroom curriculum.
  • Actively learn through DCT’s innovative multi-sensory approach and act out stories, and literature or any other “play” related to targeted curriculum!
  • On Stage by Lisa Bany-Winters ISBN # 1-55652-324-6
